How to play

Step-by-step instructions on how to create a team in Fantasy Sports Arenas

Step 1: Download the app

  • To get started with the Fantasy Sports Arenas platform, download the app to your device. Go to the Downloads section and download the APK file. Once the download is complete, open the Downloads folder and find the file you downloaded.
  • Before installing, it is recommended to scan the file for viruses. If your device has protection against installing applications from unregistered sources, go to the settings and enable the corresponding option.
  • After installation is complete, add the application icon to the home screen for convenience. Also, make sure that your device meets the minimum system requirements for stable operation of the application.

Step 2: Understand the Rules

  • Learn the Rules: Read the rules of the game and the tournament format. Different platforms may have slightly different rules for team formation, scoring, and playing matches.
  • Understand the Format: Make sure you understand how teams are formed, how many players you can select for each position (e.g. batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders, and goalkeepers).

Step 3: Selecting Players for the Team

  • Determine the Budget: Most fantasy cricket platforms have a budget within which you must create your team. This is usually virtual money, which can range from 100 to 1000 units.
  • Choosing Players:
  • Batsmen: Select a few strong and consistent batsmen. Evaluate their recent form and statistics.
  • Ballers: Pick ballers with a high probability of scoring, especially those who cope well with the current conditions and opponents.
  • All-rounders: All-rounders are players who can both bat and serve. They give you more flexibility.
  • Wicketkeeper: Pick an experienced goalkeeper who will not only catch the ball but can also contribute points with his successful at-bats.
  • Balance the team: Ensure a good balance between all positions. Include a few players who can impact the match in both attack and defence.

Step 4: Building the starting team

  • Preparing the squad: Pick your players based on their form, previous performances, and how they can impact a particular match.
  • Appoint a captain and vice-captain: These players will receive extra points for their performance. A common rule of thumb is to select the most consistent or high-performing players in these roles.
  • Check the restrictions: Make sure your team meets all restrictions on the number of players in each position and the overall cost.

Step 5: Predict and analyze

  • Study the predictions: Before making your final selection, check the predictions for the match. Check the weather conditions, the players’ form, and the history of the matches.
  • Analyze the statistics: Evaluate the players’ statistics, especially their performance in recent matches, and if possible, compare them to similar players.

Step 6: Register your team

  • Confirm the squad: Once you have selected all the players, confirm the squad and submit the team to the platform.
  • Check the team formation rules: Make sure all the rules are followed and your team is properly registered for the tournament or match.

Step 7: Manage your team during the tournament

  • Monitor the players’ status: Once the tournament starts, monitor the status of your players (injuries, squad changes, etc.). You may need to make changes to your team.
  • Substitutions and Upgrades: Use your bonuses or transfers to replace players if someone on your team is not playing or has been demoted.
  • Plan to replace your captain/vice-captain: If the players in your main roles (captain, vice-captain) are starting to play poorly, consider replacing them.

Step 8: Get Results and Analyze

  • Monitor Results: After each match, look at how many points your team has earned. Make sure the point assignments were correct.
  • Analyze Your Team: At the end of each round or season, analyze your team. Find out what went well and what can be improved for next time.
  • Earn Rewards: If your team successfully completes a tournament or championship, earn your reward.

Step 9: Continuous Improvement

  • Continue to Study the Game: To improve your team, continue to monitor matches and analyze which strategies work best.
  • Learn from Mistakes: Every new tournament is a chance to improve. Based on past experience, select better players and create more balanced teams.
